    You might wanna start investing on good quality UPS for your brownout & electricity problems.. (need a good one, don't go cheap for it)... edit: for ups don't need expensive sine wave, online, or server grade ones.. just normal off line (backup) ups is enough, just don't skip on brands...

    if u like some experimenting / handy works, u can cut the tube and install extension barbs & plug.. make sure buy the barbs and plug that fit for the tube Outer Diameter & Inner Diameter...

    well the low voltage indeed happening, we use combination of UPS and voltage regulator (stavol/stabilizer).. we know when low voltage happening and how unstable power here... :D that's why same as PSU, don't go cheap with UPS, some low cost UPS don't have protection benefit at all... edit...

    haven't tried Dell Ultrasharp u2412m vs Asus PA248Q.. but own/using Dell Ultrasharp u2312hm... I'm impressed with it's build quality... from what I know Asus pro art series employs better panel than dell one hence more expensive.. maybe others can add... (the one have those monitor)..

    I haven't tried w8 or w8.1 installation so i will using w7 as example... I have w7 installation disk, so I insert it and set in BIOS to boot from disk... it's step by step guided proses there, u can delete partition, etc there... (when u asked where to be installed) after installation done...

    if you really want to know the actual usage, there a physical watt meter that can u use. Karsten75 give a good example... some UPS & PSU have monitoring software that can give the info too... If you worry if the PSU enough for your rig, then it's enough.. my rigs peak up 450w including...

    Theoretically possible if you resize HDD partition and do partition copy of SSD to the HDD..., But I don't see why it needed, change of mobo means your old OS unusable... I usually just copy all data to hdd, remove the hdd, leaving only ssd connected... using windows boot/installation disk...

    Motherboard Help Please

    4 pin usually for providing extra power to pci-ex, (some to CPU & mem O.C.), so it's unlikely it will bust your mobo... I would check again all cabling, install internal speaker and tried again.. without rams usually u will hear a error beep...
