The Witcher Series Free to Play on Steam This Weekend

Two GTX680's is probably a bit of an exaggeration. I just finished playing the 2nd game with everything at max settings (except ubersampling) at 2560x1440 smoothly on two HD6970's. I'd go as far as saying particular parts of the game such as the forests near the town of Flotsam are some of the...

Opinion: Seeing Through Apple's "New" iPhone 5c Illusion

If Apple's idea behind introducing the 5C was for any reason other than improving their profit margins, they would have just brought out the iPhone 5 in a similar range of colours, like they've done with pretty much every iPod of recent

Next Surface RT Will Have Snapdragon for 4G LTE

Its a shame MS didn't just have a Intel Core Surface and an Atom Surface from the start and ditch RT before it was even released. The power and battery life of current and next gen Atom CPU's are just as capable as ARM CPU's so there's really no need for RT.

Apple Forced to Change Warranty Policies for New Laws

Here in New Zealand, warranties don't mean jack if you know your basic consumer rights. Even if a product is out of warranty it's still required to last what the consumer would expect to be a "reasonable amount of time". If you bring this up with retailers when a product is out of warranty they...

Asus Debuts New Transformer Pad Infinity

Don't really understand how these sort of resolutions have become the norm on decent tablets before they have on monitors

IE 10 is Most Energy Efficient Web Browser for Windows 8

Despite that most people don't like internet explorer, I have to admit that it's much faster and more responsive to touch than any other web browser I've tried on my Windows 8 tablet and because of this has become the main browser I use on it. I do still use chrome on my desktop though.

Windows 8 Usage Growing, But Still Behind Windows Vista

Still don't understand the hate for the metro start screen on desktops. I find it extremely useful as it means I can have access to all my applications ordered in the way I like at the click of a button while keeping my desktop free of icons which means I don't have to try and flick between...

Google Nexus 10 Review: Is 2560x1600 High-Definition Enough?

I really don't understand what they have against this tablet? Decent battery life, powerful processor, $100 cheaper than an iPad, great display (colour difference between this and the iPad would be unnoticeable in most cases unless they were be readily compared next to each other). Are you guys...

Apple Patents Plastic iPhone Without Home Button

"The back of the device is embroiled by a protective cover that Apple says "can wrap around and protect at least the rear portion of the portable device without adversely affecting an image capture process carried out by the rear facing camera assembly." This has got to be a joke...

Appreciate the update Aaron. Just ordered mine so hopefully it'll reach me within a week or so :)

Asus TF810C and other Windows 8 hybrids. Need some opinions.

Would love to hear what you think of it, particularly how you find the performance of the device as that is the biggest concern for me. Would be amazing if you could test some programs like Photoshop or Sketchup :) Anyway I'll be interested to hear about your findings as I'll likely order one in...
