There are mods out there that improve textures and remove the brownish "haze" that the world is colored by to make it more realistic (like blue skies). I'm not sure that is what you are looking for though.

Generally the bios isn't too accurate, but that does indeed seem high. Mine is overclocked a good amount and doesn't go over 50C. I'm sure you removed and applied fresh thermal compound when you reseated the cooler?
