Man, I am really sorry to say but you may have faulty board....just replace it, because mainly audio works straight out of the box with windows 8/10 in newer boards such as yours.

Thank you guys, I switched the builds and the i7 870 overclocked to 3.9ghz is miles better than the AMD Athlon 860k 4.5ghz, now I am going to sell the 7970 and the athlon with board and put some money and buy the 980 and be happy.

Hi guys, I AM from brazil and here hardware is pretty expensive, I tried my best to build a low end game machine for casual gamming with 600 dollars MB Gigabyte F2a88x D3h fm2+ Athlon x4 860k overclocked 4.5ghz 8 gigas 1600mhz Corsair 500w - got to replace for crossfire Sapphire dual x 7970...

What I am trying to say is that you are going to hold back this GPU using this motherboard, memory and cpu. You should upgrade the motherboard, memory and cpu and then invest in a new GPU.

Did you tested any more games? What about the gpu driver? I had this problem with my 270x toxic with MKX, I updated the driver and all gold.

What is the games config? Are running medium to high or something like that? if you are running on low, bump this up and see what happens !

The board supports it, but what`s up with this config? intel dual core socket 775 for R9 is a waste of power! If you did not bought this card yet, how about buying a new board and cpu first?

Hey man this temps are wrong, do the cpu stress test and use hwmonitor to see the temps and you are using max voltage, thats dangerous! what psu you are using?

Underclock the CPU, that should hold you for a while.
