This isn't exactly in line with the agreement for microsoft, but if you have an OEM OS, you could tell them that the motherboard was damaged and you are no longer able to use the OS and they would replace it for free. Not saying you should do it, just stating facts.

okay I'm on a low budget so I bought this PC prebuilt to get a gaming if started, possibly a bad pick, not completely sure. if I added a dedicated GPU like on I the ones posted above , would that do me any good, and would I need to upgrade the power supply too?
