I more worried about the pin layout not whether it's m.2 or 2.5in. My options are Western Digital Blue 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive or the Samsung 970 Evo 250 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive both have a different layout the wd blue is an M and B key whereas the Evo is only an M key

As building my first pc I don't know which SSD is compatible with my motherboard the 970 Evo plus or the WD Blue SSD as they both have different pin arrangements cause I'm having trouble finding any info on this
