    If the fault was with the cable I would expect to see consistent loss to all devices within the garage. but it is a singular device in the garage that experiences this and solely when using battle.net related games which would suggest something logical to me.

    Unfortunately an alternate cable isn't as easy as it sounds for this device as it is a cable that is run external to the property.
