Same machine, different SSD. I tried borrowing yet another SSD from a friend with already existing copy of windows on other laptop. Exact same issue when I put it in my machine.

Thats what I'm running on right now. But it takes up a usb slot and its way more limited speed wise. Worst case scenario I will stay with it, but I would like to fix the integrated adapter. Mostly because technically there is nothing wrong with it, and yet it still does not work with new SSDs.
