    Hi, I switched to Corsair Vangeance DDR4 RAM modules and it just worked as it should do. My Asus Z170A is running at full speed now, finally.

    No they don't. One is working, the other isn't using the same slot. So I presume the first is defective or needs timing the Asus board cannot deliver.

    I have a comparable issue but swapping the memory module in B2 showed I have a faulty module (I presume). One works in B2, the other doesn't.

    I have the same issue with 2x8GB from Crucial at 2400. Tried the 2 modules one by one in the socket B2. One worked the other doesn't. Combining them in A2 & B2 doesn't work either. So I presume one module is defective or it's specifications are way off. Will be an RMA.
