No it doesnt damage the cpu. I use an intel core i3 3210 for playing games on low setting. It works even after an year!!

If you are into 3d rendering and video editing along with serious gaming then i7 is best. you will not notice any difference between i7 and xeon if you use only one cpu on the motherboard. xeon is beneficial when using multiple processors on the same board. but that is another thing, which costs...

use software like speccy or hwinfo etc to find out the type of ram installed. look for frequency/latency/timing use the exactly same ram. its better to buy the same brand and model.

yes. this is pretty good for cs:go. however all latest high end games will not run properly. you must consider upgrading your ram to at least a minimum 4 gb.

xeon processor is overkill. get an i5 (unless you already have the xeon or you are getting a really good deal). everything else seems good.

Yes this system configuration is pretty good for your needs. Internet browsing will be really fast if you have a fast internet connection. Also minecraft will run with very good framerates.

yes it will run. first run it with all settings on low and lowest resolution. then increase your settings one by one and play the game. stop increasing the setting when you notice lags.

I have a spare 15.6 inch 1920x1080 laptop panel which used 30 pin (2 lane) embedded displayport. How can I use it on a Desktop PC which has a Displayport output? Do I need an lcd controller? Or a customised cable will work?
