I can't really specify tbh but I priced up the parts and I can also afford an EVGA 500w Bronze 80+ PSU

I checked and I can run it and a 960 gtx too I think I do have a crappy PSU and will upgrade that too but that won't be included in the price. It's 500w and bundled with the case

So I have a budget of 230 and I'm trying to pick a graphics card for my computer I also need a new quad core fm2 processor and a new case. I'm thinking the Athlon x4 860k, so that would leave me with about 170-180 for the case and graphics card. I'm not sure weather to go for the 7870 or the gtx...

I wanted atleast quad so the x4 was gonna be my main choice to replace the dual core a6 in my current build. Dual core on fifa 15 is absolutely horrible, stutter problems left right and centre in game. Menus run smooth as butter though.

Ive tried selling and I read the R9s get bottlenecked so basically there is no difference in fps between that and the r7 260x otherwise Id love to start again to fx 6300 :/

I'm curious as to which I would get the better performance out of for gaming, I know the i3 is a bargain, but is the i5 worth the price tag in comparison?
