Hey quit making me feel old! :) Mr Pabst thank you for starting this site - it is fun watching this thing you create evolve from it's humble beginnings to what it is now. Looking forward to seeing your new creation. (And also to all the editors and contributors, thank you for giving us so much...

Picking The Right Power Supply: What You Should Know

Nice article, thank you. I recently built a work station / game machine for rendering and the occasional demanding games. I chose a massive power supply that can output a bit more than I need to future proof an upgrade to whatever the 2nd gen Titan X Nvidia is coming out with later on this...

Volvo Let a Hamster Steer One of Its Trucks

Go Charlie ! He deserves another carrot or two. The little guy seems to be running the entire way up that hill on the steering wheel. They should have had sensors to show many foot / feet steps he took to traverse that distance. Then the Hamster Union can use it to show: cruel and unusual...

Seagate Desktop HDD 4TB Review: Big Capacity At 5900 RPM

I picked one of these just last week as a backup drive for my laptop. I have it sitting in an external USB3.0 dock right next to another 2TB Seagate 7200rpm HD in a slooww USB2.0 external dock. I get an average 80 to 100MB/s for the 4TB and it is very quiet and cool. If I put it in a desktop I...

In Pictures: 30 Famous Fictional Computers

I actually enjoyed this. And the additions by other users for inclusion too. I had forgotten about most of those. Skynet still gets my vote for world ending badass AI.

2013 Nissan GT-R Black Edition: The Gran Turismo Car

tuaniesSorry. I wasn't used to the blaring CA sun at all hours of the day and had to run the benchmarks, take pictures and drive to LA and head to the airport. I was in an unfamiliar surrounding and short on time. No need to apologize. The majority of us understand.

MSI Debuts Its First Two Mechanical Keyboards

Mechanical keyboards are great. Just make sure to try them out before you buy. The different Cherry MX switches aren't for everyone. I have a Cherry Red in my Corsair K90 and it is great for gaming- but can be too sensitive for typing if you like to pound on your keyboard.

OCZ Expands Far Cry 3 Vector SSD Offer

Aye, I hear ya. It's a right crap shoot out there economy wise. I still have a huge 40mb external SCSI HD kicking around in the old junk tech pile I need to take to the recyclers. Yep the good ole days- spent good money on that thing too. My biggest thing is I look at value to performance vs...

Dell XPS One 27: Can An All-In-One Make Us Love Windows 8?

I use Class Shell to get my Win 7 start button and menu back. I find myself using a combination of the Win 8 UI or Classic Shell Start button menu depending on what is faster and more efficient. They each have their strong and weak points. I look forward to trying out the Leap Motion touch...
