grab a corsair h100i, keeps this thing frosty even while under full load.

I had a Seidon 120v water cooler and it wasnt enough to keep this chip cool, was hovering around 68C. Grabbed a Corsair H100i and now it hovers around 30C, 50C if I turbo boost the thing to 4.73ghz

I had a Seidon 120v water cooler and it wasnt enough to keep this chip cool, was hovering around 68C while idle. Grabbed a Corsair H100i and now it hovers around 30C, 50C if I turbo boost the thing to 4.73ghz

grabbed a h100i and some formula 7 thermal compound. WOW what a difference, cpu sits at around 30C even while gaming. Even when turning on the turbo and boosting the cpu to 4.73ghz it hovers around 50.

Thx for help. Looks like ill pick up a h100i and new thermal tomorrow

put in a new raidmax psu, everything works fine now.

Tried that. Removed everything but 1 stick of memory, cpu, and keyboard. POST stops at "d6" which is video card not recognized. Tried it again with that + the video cards. POST stops again at "99"
