Question CPU underperforming in single thread tests CPU-Z test - Low single core score

mmmmm... Why on earth did you installed the CPU cooler that way ? I mean I don't think this will have a huge impact on the cooling, considering we are talking about a Core i5 10500, but... Why like that?

Question CPU underperforming in single thread tests CPU-Z test - Low single core score

Hello and welcome to the forum. Would you be soo kind to run userbenchmark (https://www.userbenchmark.com/) and paste the link to the complete results here? Be sure to have no other app running please. PD: You didn'tmention what kind of cpu cooler you have?, nor if you tried to run the UE5...

Question Stuttering on new PC build ?

If you are looking at CPU/GPU usage while the game is minimize, then you are not reading the right numbers. Unless you are using some sort of AMD OSD (OnScreenDisplay) feature on which case you can see the usage information over the gaming session, then those should be the right numbers. Like...

Question Is 4k the norm now?

You read and/or watch reviews that include the types of games you like to play, and then you see what models of each vendor does it for you (price/performance wise).

Question CPU, Processor and RAM upgrade for €700-800 (Euros) ?

News Startup claims its Zeus GPU is 10X faster than Nvidia's RTX 5090: Bolt's first GPU coming in 2026

... "show me some real work", and then you talk about AI Video, upscaling and brute force ... sorry it made me smile a little bit. But I do get your point. Time will tell if they get anywhere near to a final product, and available for purchase.

News Startup claims its Zeus GPU is 10X faster than Nvidia's RTX 5090: Bolt's first GPU coming in 2026

Ah... yes, what a bold announcement to do. But as usual you should not believe what the maker said, always wait for reviews. Specially after whats been happening with the last paper launch of that maker who forgot to mention that power cables can catch on fire when used with their new product...

Question CPU, Processor and RAM upgrade for €700-800 (Euros) ?

That looks great. About the BIOS: as I wrote, only in the case you would go with the most budget option: changing your CPU for one of the the 5000 serires, then you would need to update your current mobo BIOS. Otherwise it would not recognize this new 5000 series cpus. If you go with a Ryzen...

Question CPU, Processor and RAM upgrade for €700-800 (Euros) ?

Sounds alright. Yes, sadly GPU prices have gone to the roof. Every now and then you may get a decent deal, but you have to pay a lot of attention and stay behind it all the time. You could go with the Ryzen 5600 / 5700 / 5700X3D / 5800X3D and save your self from changing the mobo and RAM (you...

Question CPU, Processor and RAM upgrade for €700-800 (Euros) ?

Stock cooler for the 7700 should be enough for gaming, but it would never be like a good 1 tower, or even better 2 tower aftermarket cooler. Now, for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D theres no cooler included, so you will have to buy an aftermarket one. Then again, that is indeed a good first step to build...

Question Random FPS drops in every game following a usage drop in GPU

Testing. There are many ways, some involve changing components, others involve using better software to read sensors and the information that you need. For example, if I wana know if a game is cpu limited I would: 1. Try at higher detail settings / higher resolution, not sure this will work...
