Duplication is not a problem, it already works. What I need is to duplicate only a portion of my laptop screen and not the whole thing.

As in the heading, I just need a mirror function, where part of the display of a running program is to be mirrored over to a secondary monitor. If the secondary monitor display can be set to a lower resolution such that the mirrored section fills the screen, that's perfect.
