Question 4 pin 12V extension cord with all rounded pins on the male side

Hi, I'm in somewhat of an issue with my build. My motherboard has two 4-pin ATX power connectors that I need to plug in but my PSU's cables are too short for it. Now, out of the two 4-pin connectors one has the standard pin shapes with two square pins and two rounded pins and there's no issue...

Question Random BSODs over the past month

Yeah I've been refreshing the page to see all the new notes you've been adding, thank you very much for everything. I deleted both the Ryzen Master services and the whole software itself while I was at it. Just a few more questions, you mentioned that I should "do something about"...

Question Random BSODs over the past month

Thank you so much for your help. I removed the ScpVBus.sys (although I already deleted that once yesterday, I guess there was a copy) and both of the AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys (are they really harmful, considering they are part of an AMD software? I'll trust you on that however). Also ran the cmd...

Question Random BSODs over the past month

Never mind, I couldn't get it to compress so I just changed to just kernel dump and re-did it. Here it is: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TnMUWRbTkJXVws_T4DobyQA2I137oWxm/view?usp=sharing

Question Random BSODs over the past month

Ah, <Mod Edit>, the dump mode had changed to a full dump by itself. A full dump should still work right? I'll compress it and upload to drive.

Question Random BSODs over the past month

I'll try that. I've changed the "CrashDumpEnabled" to 1 and "CrashOnCtrlScroll" to 1 as well. Now I just reboot and initiate the BSOD for the memory dump right? Will edit it in here once I get it uploaded. Edit: It'll take a while as it's 16GB in size (not sure if Drive will even accept it as...

Question Random BSODs over the past month

I didn't change anything, that's the only dump from today I can find. I can try it again if you want in the morning, but I'll need the location of the new dump.

Question Random BSODs over the past month

That's what I did. That dump was the only one that appeared. Or are the verifier dumps somewhere other than C:\Windows\Minidums\?

Question Random BSODs over the past month

I just tried running verifier and you were right, I couldn't even boot the system without a BSOD. Turned it off in safemode, here's the dump: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BlbkiwK0LCeOtPIZizZMFEpOlsgYht-x/view?usp=sharing

Question Random BSODs over the past month

Okay, thanks. I uninstalled SCP Toolkit and found a replacement driver for the controller, maybe that helps. As for the overclocking software thing, that should only happen when I actually have an overclock in place right? And if they do cause issues even without changing any settings in them...

Question Random BSODs over the past month

Hm, you sure about that? I believe that driver is for my SCP Toolkit, which is required for my controller to work with my PC. I wouldn't like to remove it unless necessary. Also, about the MSI Afterburner driver, what do you mean by "you do not want to debug problems if a overclock driver is...

Question Random BSODs over the past month

Yeah I've only had that once, a few weeks ago, I don't recall even seeing it but I found it in the event viewer. Must have been one of those sneaky restarts that happened while I wasn't looking.

Question Random BSODs over the past month

The problem is that I'm not getting constant BSODs. Sometimes my PC works just fine for a week without a single BSOD, sometimes I get five in one day. So the "See if it BSODs then" part is a bit problematic because they are so inconsistent, I don't know any single thing that causes one always...

Question Random BSODs over the past month

The latest change I did was upgrading my RAM last September. So no, not in quite a while. I've been having some BSODs prior as well (like, a few times per month) but only since around February they have actually gotten common, with like 1 every other day on average.
