Same here. They definitely look much worse on YT. I read an article about VP8 and VP9 codecs which Google uses and those codecs don't use hardware acceleration. An extension is available H264ify for Chrome and Firefox which will force YouTube to use H264 and hence the GPU. I'm trying it now.

If it's a driving game with a campaign, try Watch Dogs or The Crew or for great races Forza Horizon3. Blowing stuff up, Just Cause 3, which is the game I went to after GTA 5.

Vulkan has doubled the framerate on my Radeon 7950 and i can now play on ultra at around 70 fps. I'm very impressed!
