Windows10 has made games unplayable, even after downgrade.

Hi all, I have an Msi gaming laptop (8gb ram, 960m, i7 4720HQ) and I recently "upgraded" it to Windows 10. After the upgrade I noticed that my games were now unplayable(primarily Arma 3) and I was getting 6-8fps. I installed all the latest drivers via GeForce experience and after preforming...

Need some help with deciding on an intel cpu and a low cost ($150-$220) mobo

Here's what I'd get (sorry for amazon link, newegg was acting up), as I've used it before and never had any issues with it. Also what boosted said is true, you may want to check out other PSU's.

Can't go wrong with the 4690k, a personal favorite of mine, great for overclocking. Yup, you'll be able to push high settings on GTA V. Personally, I dont like the idea of an APU in a gaming PC but for $250, it seems like a good idea. Of course it'll need upgrading further down the line such as RAM etc. although it will be limited by the amd cpu Also a 750w psu? Very overkill.
