    Plex server question

If you go into the movie library settings on the Plex server, you can add any mapped locations to your movie library. So yes, you can use a USB drive to hold media in your Plex server.

Need help identifying a component on a MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X

Is that $55 for another 1070 or a different card? I think I saw that card on a local classified ad today for sale (if it's not, then I saw a card with the EXACT same damage and the ad is gone now). If it is that card and you paid your friend what they were asking in the ad, that's a pretty sweet...

Best Red and Black Computer Parts for Build?

My build is red and black. I went with Phobya Nano-2G 14 blade fans on the heatsink and case fans. They look and perform great. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13534/fan-887/Phobya_120mm_x_25mm_Nano-2G_1500rpm_PWM_Fan_-_Red_LED.html

Fan up or down with psu

I think the only reason to mount a bottom PSU fan-side-up is if you plan to set and run your case on carpet.

    Military-themed PC ideas.

The ASUS Sabertooth boards come in camo themed PCB and some come with TUF Armor that kind of resembles military body armor.

Can my PSU run a GTX 750Ti?

A GTX 750Ti at stock clocks without a PCIe power connector draws about 66W max. Whether or not you can run it on your power supply depends on the rest of your system. The recommended watts from Nvidia take into account total system draw and are conservative. FWIW, I've been running a GTX...

    AKG K702s vs K267

There's also the important point of the K702 being an open headphone and the T267 being closed. With open, typically you get better soundstage. With closed, typically you get more bass. There are exceptions to those generalizations. Open vs closed also matters for sound leakage. With the...

Philips Fidelio X2 without a sound card?

Hope I'm not too late, but the Fidelio X2 is available on Massdrop for only $200 right now. You have to wait a while to get the item, but it's a really good deal.

    New headphone recommendations?

From what you describe, it sounds like you really need two separate sets of headphones. You know, the right tool for the job. The problem with using over the ear phones during strenuous activities is 1) they trap heat and sweat 2) unless they clamp tight they tend to fall off 3) if they do...

    Headphones with vibrating bass?

Maybe check out one of the basshead threads over at head-fi: http://www.head-fi.org/t/716711/the-hardest-hitting-headphones-are-the-extreme-bass-club The current #1 on that thread is the JVC HA-SZ2000, but check out all of the options listed. I'm not sure any of the audiophile "basshead"...

Philips Fidelio X2 without a sound card?

The X2 is a low impedance headphone and easy to drive. It's a nice improvement over the Fidelio X1 which I used to have. You should be just fine using the onboard audio. I also used to have a Z87-GD65 Gaming and the ALC1150 audio was pretty good. I say try the onboard audio and if you decide...
