    HP’s 65-Inch, $5,000 Gaming Monitor Has a Scary-Loud Soundbar

"Scary-Loud" price, considering no HDR support; 8-bit panel only. The soundbar is a nice addon but personally, at this price-point, I'd be adding this monitor to a much "deeper" and lavish sound system, if it was "the one". This monitor should be showcasing it's visual prowess, checking ALL...

Fancy on board sound card and USB headset

100% agree w/ jimmy. As a side note, if you are only gaming, the onboard sound will do for sure. However, if multimedia (music, vids, movies, etc) are also going to be played on this system regularly, I'd definitely recommend an upgrade to a dedicated sound card /DAC at some point for sure...

1080 ti auros xtreme buy or avoid

The RTX 2080 Duke does post a few better benches than it's cousin MSI GTX 1080 Ti, see here: https://wccftech.com/review/msi-geforce-rtx-2080-duke-oc-review/ Variances between other manufacturers GTX 1080 Ti's may/may not be there, just depends on if it's benched on a comarable PC setup for a...

1080 ti auros xtreme buy or avoid

The card I have runs at 2038 MHz on stock clock (boost), which is pretty good! This seems to be the average for the Aorus' Extreme's, without OC'ing them. Even with OC'ing, FPS gain is dependent upon: the rest of your system's hardware, your monitor's spec's and game graphic settings.

1080 ti auros xtreme buy or avoid

Can't speak for any other 1080 Ti from personal use/experience, but will from owning the Aorus 1080 Ti Xtreme... 1- Out-of-box clocks are above most other 1080 Ti's; not that this translates into massive FPS gains but is a FPS/performance bonus nonetheless 2- With custom fan curve, NEVER goes...

CCleaner Updates Itself Without Notifying Users

Am using it on my laptop and have been doing so since 2016 without any issues. No auto-update without my knowledge here occurred... In fact, I rec'd an e-mail about the update and proceeded with doing so "manually" and it worked just fine/as advertised. To each their own.

    4670 to 2700x

The only thing I'll chime in on is, that the 8700k/8600k & accompanying Z370 chipset is at a deadend; zero upgrade-ability. Whereas, the AMD X470 motherboard for the 2700X you are looking has been confirmed by AMD to be supported by new/forthcoming CPUs until 2020. Just one source here...

Need advice on which speakers to purchase

I second on some brands/models mentioned already with others thrown in the mix, all within budget in the UK; reviews on all seem to be in the 4-5 star range: - JBL LSR305/306 - Edifier R1800 BT - M-Audio BX5/BX8 D3 - Swan M200MKIII

Just Buy It: Why Nvidia RTX GPUs Are Worth the Money

Toms just posted an article two days ago contradicting this article: https://www.tomshardware.com/news/wait-to-buy-nvidia-geforce-rtx-gpus,37673.html Either way, Ray-tracing and DLSS hold no interest for me at the mo... Second, the pricing. These cards would fit me into a nice board, CPU...
