I logged into the router and found IPv4 under Broadband Port. Under Lan Port the IPv4 address is 192.168.0.1 . I think i found the DHCP config page, I added my pc from the list of connected devices, so it has its own IP address, is this what you meant?

The mouse mat i have is the steelseries QCK which is a cloth mouse mat, although the mouse i want to buy, the corsair vengeance m65, is a laser mouse and ive heard that a laser mouse on cloth tends to result in jitter and things of that sort. Anyone know if this will give any problems?
