[SOLVED] New PC Build for Gaming - Think it could be better

Oh wow thank you so much! I will probably end up using most of the stuff from this list. I'll use my 1660 until I can get my hands on a 3060. This was incredibly helpful.

[SOLVED] New PC Build for Gaming - Think it could be better

Hmm I'll probably do that. Honestly I can use the 1660 in the meantime and look to upgrade it in a year or so. Thanks for the help! I'll look into a different motherboard.

[SOLVED] New PC Build for Gaming - Think it could be better

I'm mostly wondering if I should upgrade the GPU that I already have. If I need to I'd either sell the 1660 or use it for my second monitor since I already have it. Do you think the GPU that I already have is good enough to play modern games on ultra settings 1080p?

[SOLVED] New PC Build for Gaming - Think it could be better

He's not blaming me per se, just noticed that his files were gone after we switched the card, which was the only thing that happened. I'm wondering if they somehow got moved to a different folder and now 2k14...

[SOLVED] Friend lost game data after Changing GPU

So my friend recently updated his graphics card from a Gigabyte something or other (I think 650 but I'm not entirely sure, it was old) to an Nvidia 1660. When he tried to play a game of NBA 2k14, however, he noticed that all of his save game files, as well as his mods were gone and nowhere to be...

    First-time Building a PC.

If I'm only going to be putting my OS on the SSD, do I really need 240 Gb? Thank you very much for putting so much time into helping me! Also thank you Ascend. You're saying forget the SSD for my OS now and just spend the money buying better components? Finally, what other things do I need to...

    First-time Building a PC.

So I'm taking the dive and building my first PC. I'm going to use it mostly for gaming. I was wondering if anyone would be able to take a look at the components I've selected and give me any recommendations/advice that they can. Also please let me know what I'm missing. Thank you so much! P.S...
