Both the phone and desktop are using 5GHz wifi. This is also prevelant when the desktop is using 2.4GHz and ethernet... I have no idea what could be causing it. The desktop is also getting 200+ms ping

I have decided to build a variant on the article from http://www.instructables.com/id/Dual-Input-Audio-Switching-Circuit. I have bought the components for having two switches - One to change the input and one to change the output. Hopefully it works.
