    Question PSU Extension Lead Question

Thanks for your reply... that's going to be tricky because the way I have it oriented is Desk (Plugs) - Chair - ONT (Other Plugs) So I'd either need two UPSes or an extension lead

    Question PSU Extension Lead Question

Hey all, I have just bought a UPS to protect my low powered devices e.g router, server and fibre ONT box however in order to protect my fibre ONT I will need to use an extension lead coming from one of the battery powered UPS sockets. I've read various things online but I need some...

Question Looking to extend Wi-Fi out into the garden via single access point

Thanks for your reply @kanewolf, do you know if in the app you can configure antenna strength/range? Edit: ignore me - you mention that you use the controller software. Is it worth setting that up on Windows for just one standalone AP?

Question Looking to extend Wi-Fi out into the garden via single access point

Thank you for your helpful reply! I won't need Gigabit speeds but if I can get 100mbps+ then I will be really happy. Do you know if the Ubiquiti web browser config/app allows you to control the power of the antenna? Just so I can tweak it so it doesn't reach much further than my house. Thanks!

Question Looking to extend Wi-Fi out into the garden via single access point

Hi, and apologies if this is the wrong place to ask. We currently have our ISP’s router/modem combination unit in a room at the front of the house and it works really well inside of the house, however the signal isn’t very good when I’m in the garden (at the back of the house) so I was...

Question PC not displaying anything after Prime95 overnight

Okay so update with a different PSU: Still the same issue, only boots when the quantity of RAM changes, so if I either take a stick out and boot it, or put that stick back in to boot it. Quite the expensive jumper 😂

Question PC not displaying anything after Prime95 overnight

That’s what I think I’d like to test next. I managed to get it to boot, but it won’t boot 9 times out of 10. My current PSU is an EVGA 650 GQ. Is that a bad PSU?

Question PC not displaying anything after Prime95 overnight

Hey, A couple of nights ago, I overclocked my i5 4690k to 4.2ghz at 1.175v, and it seemed to run great in games, rendering, etc. Last night I decided to run a Prime95 blend test overnight, and I left it running - in the morning I got up, and it was fine, stopped the process and saw the max...

[SOLVED] Is 85 degrees in prime 85 test ok?

Prime95 pushes a system's CPU to unreasonable limits, which usually kicks out a lot of heat. If you have the cooler that came with the Ryzen 3 that is expected, games most likely won't push the CPU to these heat limits.
