    Question Broken PicoPSU - - constant 12V ?

Yeah you're right about a schematic - I've spent ages looking for one with no luck! The external voltage is pretty steady at 12.3V - from what I've read the picoPSU just passes that through anyway. The kernel log shows that it's the ssd bringing it out of standby, so if I can find a way to stop...

Question Hey Guys My computer is not sending any power to the keyboard, mouse or monitor what is the problem?

Try listening/looking for a motherboard error code first - if there are leds or a buzzer on the motherboard you might hear beeps of see a code in the leds - the motherboard manual might tell you what it means. After that, if you have a multimeter, unplug the leads from the motherboard and test...

Question Converting Seasonic PSU connectors (SSP-250SUB TO SS-250SU)

There are different versions of ATX, with different connectors. This page is pretty comprehensive: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pc-interfaces-101,1177-20.html

Question Converting Seasonic PSU connectors (SSP-250SUB TO SS-250SU)

Each to their own. Those are both standard FlexATX supplies, both compliant with the spec - I'd be happy taking the connector from the old one and fitting the new wires to the right places.

    Question Broken PicoPSU - - constant 12V ?

So, I have a broken PicoPSU - the 12V rail (which should just be a pass-through from the external AC-DC convertor) isn't giving a voltage. I've fixed this by bridging across from the 12V input, to the 12V on the output side. All the other voltages are OK. This works fine, except, I can't put my...

Question Converting Seasonic PSU connectors (SSP-250SUB TO SS-250SU)

Hi, yes, that should be fine - match up the colours, black is ground (0V), red is +5V, yellow is +12V, normally, on a standard ATX supply. Standard precautions apply, don't short it out, or connect the 12V to the 5V rail or anything like that and it should be fine.
