Just tried it. No display. The vga led red light is on, I get error beeps (1 long, 3 short). The computer is in and running but no display. The motherboard manual does say to only use the pci-e slot 1 with a single card though.

Pci-e 1 and 3,which is what the motherboard manual recommended. They are both x16 slots

Sorry for confusion. Both cards are actually radeon r9 280. They are just different manufacturers (one is HSI and one is Sapphire). Updated the specs in above post. Still not having any luck with computer recognizing both cards as crossfire. AFAIK device manager only sees one. Radeon software...
