All 1080tis are pretty much the same its just the cooling capabilites and noise that is diffrent from eachother. Some graphics cards like the EVGA kingpin have a clockspeed that they must be able to reach though. Kingpin gives you the best oc capabilites with it having a giant copper heatsink...

If all you are doing is gaming it should be fine unless you buy a crappy graphics card.

Both of those should be able to run almost every game just fine? Would you not rather just wait for something new to come out? and I would just buy a new gpu if you really have to for some reason, but with all the miners atm buying a gpu is way too overpriced...

I would not buy any new intel cpus untill they say the kernal bug has been fixed on all newly made cpus but i5 8600k seems to be best value when its not worth $280.
