This could indicate a potentially faulty RAM stick. Try booting your PC with only 1 stick in place and try each individual stick and see which one gives you errors/least usable RAM in windows. Then replace the faulty stick.

This sounds more like a CPU limitation rather than GPU. Can you give an example of the games and CPU you're using?

That CPU is perfectly tailored to overclocking, just as any K model Intel CPU is. Read some of the overclocking guides on here and follow the advice and you should be able to get some good gains from that CPU with the water cooling solution.
