Pulled the card and placed in 2nd machine to verify. It is DOA. Did not work in 2nd machine.

I will rma the card first as there is nothing wrong with the psu. Figured I would check for alternatives first.

It is a cool max. The reason for the 6 pins is that it is 7 years old. But I've verified that it is sending electrical current and that the fans are spinning. I had previously a radeon 5950 that had a 6 pin that does work fine. Bios is verified up to date. I've reset CMOS. Not getting any beeps...

The card isn't detected by mobo during bios post. New drivers won't help yet. Once the mobo identifies the card then I can move onto the OS.

I am going on 3 hours now without any luck. I just bought this card and very excited to test it out. But I'm getting nowhere. What it is doing. I know that the fans are spinning. It is not being detected by mobo and so I can't see the POST. I have a 1000 watt psu and don't have a...
