Your CPU most likely got fried after all this use (suprised it took you 3-4 years) it might just be too damaged to boot windows and will shut off automatically because it reached its maximum thermal temperature within the 1-2 minutes you describe. -

http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html do a clean install and use Nvidia driver 387.92 or higher (your prefference) i find that higher Nvidia updates run very poor. Based on user reviews, and update me how it goes. -

Did you use DDU to install the new graphic drivers? also PUBG is a very bad example to test your gpu fps, since its poorly optimised and still in early access. -

No it wouldn't if your other components are sufficient enough Eg; 8gb ram and a decent motherboard.
