IPS Monitor - Asus VN248H-P vs VS239H-P (which is newer/better?)

I meant to also ask. The 248 I think has one of these newer (better?) AH-IPS panels. Is this legit? I'll probably be connecting by HDMI as I currently use DVI and DP outputs for other monitors (and I only have I graphics card). There's no advantage with DVI at 60Hz, right? No color difference?

IPS Monitor - Asus VN248H-P vs VS239H-P (which is newer/better?)

I'm looking for an IPS monitor <$200 for photo editing. Looking at 2 different Asus models but I can't work out which is better/newer. I think the VN-248H-P is the newer model but somehow it doesn't show up on Asus' site when filtering by IPS monitors. I does come up in a manual search. The...

Graphics card tips... what do I need to install/do (780 Ti)

I have my new machine that was built for me with an EVGA 780 Ti. All it came with is the Nvidia GeForce software/driver. All works fine, but is there anything else I could/should be doing/installing. Eg: EVGA Precision X http://www.evga.com/precision/ Is this worth getting to monitor/tweak...

Dual monitors: Pros and cons of using GPU and onboard vs only GPU ???

Single PC with single graphics card (780 Ti), running 2 monitors. 1 monitor for gaming and the other for web browsing/other non-gaming tasks. Is there a best way to utilize connecting the monitors to the system in this scenario? Connect both to graphics card? Or gaming monitor to graphics card...

8.1 Pro - Remote Desktop questions

I currently have standard Windows 8.1 on 2 laptops. I'm looking at getting Windows 8.1 Pro on a full PC to make use of its remote desktop (host) functionality. I used to use remote desktop for an old employer years ago but don't know a lot about it, especially the latest version. As I...

$3000 Gaming PC - any comments welcome (I'm a noooob)

Yeah, I'm not going for 4960K. Already been through that debate in a previous thread. 4770K it is. I already have an Astro A40 headset with Mixamp. Having a good sound card feed in to this shall complete my sound experience. So it seems we're debating SLI or not. A single 780 Ti can max out...

$3000 Gaming PC - any comments welcome (I'm a noooob)

Thanks again to those of you who have replied. I appreciate it and shall consider all your suggestions. Just to be a bit clearer on the BF4 graphics thing. I'm not looking to hit 120 FPS on maxed/Ultra settings. I'm happy to use a mix of low/med/high (and even turn off things like ambient...
