So in order to make use of the xmp profiles of the ram do i need a motherboard with the xmp feature? I want to know if http:// works with http:// when overclocking. I plan on using an i5 4690k. halp

nevermind i solved the problem. it seems there was a problem with the dvi to vga adapter i was using. thx for your help

ok so the issue is that the monitor is turned on but it is not displaying what it is supposed to. this is the case when it is connected to my nvidia 9600gt; the system boots and all the fans are working(including the one on the gpu). when i switch to onboard graphics it works fine, it also works...
