Build Advice Upgrade existing or build new for Diablo 4?

a note: that 30-50% performance loss is *exclusive* to the 6500XT and no other cards, because it's a laptop GPU put in a desktop connection, and thus only uses 4 PCIe lanes. You don't see this with other GPUs at all, with losses between PCIE 4 and PCIe 3 of 2-5% at most. I'd do a BIOS update...

I'd generally say the first one is better (though splitting the difference with a 5600 would be ideal)

Question Planning to upgrading to 7800x3d

I lost all trust in ASUS over this issue, but after the fixes, most motherboards are not overvolting the 7800X3D anymore. Since Asus was not correctly reporting the voltage (you would have it set to 1.3, it would report 1.3 but actually deliver 1.39!) I just don't trust their motherboards...

with the B450, you have a Ryzen CPU, which *really* wants 3200/3600 RAM. have you done driver updates? Is is possible Roblox has VSync on (and set to 30fps)?

Question What do I upgrade first?

a RX 6600 will be an ideal, best-bang-for-buck upgrade right now, especially since the 7600 just came out, so its price should drop. It has about 95% of the performance of a 3060 for 2/3 the cost

Question HP Z6 G4 with RTX 3090 to run MSFS - - what about CPU & RAM requirements ?

I'd go with the 6134 with its 8 cores at over 3 GHz. MSFS will be hurt by the 24 core's slower speed (It won't use anywhere near all 24 cores). That is still an older chip design (Equal to the Intel 8000-series). For RAM, 32 GB should be enough. If the monitors have displayport, they should...

Review Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Review: 1080p Gaming for $399

I think the best description comes from Gamers Nexus: The 4060ti is a waste of sand since you can pretty much match its performance in everything but DLSS 3 by overclocking a 3060ti for 15 minutes. and $400 is way too much for just DLSS 3

the LED lights (or, if you have a basic speaker plugged in, the POST beeps) should tell you what's wrong. Memory, CPU, or Graphics card.
