    Question Brother Printer Firmware Update

Hi all I know not to update the Firmware on my Brother HL-L3230CDW laser printer (or I'll be stuck with buying expensive toner as compared to cheaper compatibles), but I recently uninstalled the printer and now I have to reinstall drivers etc. The trouble, is there are a few software updates I...

Question Are RJ45 Crimping Kits any good ?

The trouble with reviews, it seems especially Amazon reviews, is that you are always going to get a few negative ones, right up there with positive ones. It's very rare I find any review that doesn't have a negative spin. I've seen a few people using the above crimper kit on Youtube and it...

Question Are RJ45 Crimping Kits any good ?

Unfortunately, I can't replace the cable because when we had the kitchen redone, the fitters enclosed it inside trunking, which is in the corner, behind fitted cabinets. Luckily, there's a lot of spare cable going through it all.

Question Are RJ45 Crimping Kits any good ?

Does anyone know if the available rj45 crimping kits are any good? I only need to do one end of a patch cable, but, I need everything from the crimping tool to the rj45 connector and hood. Could someone recommend anything? Ideally I don't want to spend much more than £50 but will do if I have...

    Question Closed Back Wired Headphones

Thanks all for the recommendations. I've settled on a second-hand pair of Beats 2, wired. Tried them the other day with my buddy, and they sounded brilliant.

    Question Closed Back Wired Headphones

Do you use an amp/dac with the Sennheiser HD 559, or, no need?

    Question Closed Back Wired Headphones

@hang-the-9 To be honest, I just wanted to plug in some headphones and be done. I'm not that well versed in audio technicalities. Using the amp/dac seems a simple enough process, but it's quite a pricey add on at £42. @CompuGuy71 I see the Sennheiser HD 559 are open-backed. Does that mean they...

They were 32 ohm and were recommended for laptops, smart phones, that kind of thing.

    Question Closed Back Wired Headphones

Hey all I'm in the market for a good set of over-ear, noise cancelling earphones. I don't want wireless and I can spend up to £200. I only need them for listening to Netflix. The trouble is, I don't know which to get. After some research, I ordered the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro for £109 and was...

    Question beyerdynamic-770-PRO-Studio-Headphones

Can these wired headphones be used with an iPhone? I ask because they don't seem to have the lightning conductor jack. "]www.amazon.co.uk/beyerdynamic-770-PRO-Studio-Headphones/dp/B008POFOHM?th=1

Question Google Nest Audio Smart Speaker

Hi all Does anyone know if the Google Nest Audio smart speaker is supposed to read back to you your reminders? For example, if I set a reminder, "Remind me to walk the dog at 14:30 today", when the time comes around, the Nest just says, "I have a reminder for >name<", and that's it. Even if I...
