Well for this, I think you should go for a 1050ti, better if you can get a 1060 as you are willing to invest on one for a longer time. I don;t think 1050 would be your companion for the next 4 years!

Have you tried connecting an external keyboard to see if that's working? Other than that, did you experience any physical damage to your laptop recently?
