hi unreal9400 thank you for you help . i will ask my sis to see if button stuck . just been to pc world and asked in there and i have been told that there is a software glitch in windows 10 and that said the only way thay know is you have to reboot from scratch take it back to factory settings ...

yep . its my sis pc . she has said that she got to the windows icon bottom left click then to power then shut down , pc shuts down then 3-5 mins then just starts up again , the only way she can turn it off is by the mains . thanks

i have an upgrade to win 8 but its only an upgrade not a full version so can do a clean install , so if i can still use xp then put win 8 over the top will it be safe to use ? thanks all
