My Crucial M500 SSD turned into a read only paper weight

Have you tried changing write permissions via command prompt? Yes it should ask you for windows admin password within command prompt, but I'd be curious if it kicks you off that way. I'd look you up a link on how to do this but I'm not at home atm and can't really do it.

Tom's Hardware Login Error - "Unable to configure verification page."

It is something with firefox and tomshardware. I haven't had issues with edge but suddenly can't log in anymore with firefox. I made an exception for cookies but it still doesn't work for me. I wasn't sure if it was firefox itself or the addons (adblock, noscript) but I tried temporarily letting...

My i5 7600k, something is wrong with it

It will matter, but at that resolution, your cpu is likely to be the limiting factor, before the gpu. If you forced it to higher res (provided monitor supported it), gpu would take over more but your fps would drop considerably because it's a higher resolution. Otherwise since no issues with...

My i5 7600k, something is wrong with it

Try turning off v-sync. It is meant to sync your fps to your monitor refresh rate, but as I doubt you're going to approach 240 fps, might be better with it off (unless you have g-sync monitor?). I would think screen tearing would be more of an effect but might in fact overtask your cpu as well...

bootmCr missing press ctrl+alt delete to restart

:) Glad it's working and thanks for letting us know what it was. That being said bios crapping out on you like that shouldn't happen. Hopefully now you've switched the battery it won't happen again.

HELP PLEASE! RANDOM Extremely loud fan spikes on gtx 1080

Uh...20k rpm is an error. I know of no fan that spins that fast. 0 RPM occasionally is right if it's doing that hovering between off and on, but 20k seems off. I'd say something is wrong with how afterburner is reading it. If this is hwmonitor you're getting the 20k values from...then not sure...

My i5 7600k, something is wrong with it

it actually could be a lot of issues that have nothing to do with your cpu. First culprit to check is your system and your drivers. Update your video drivers always from nvidia's page to the latest version. Turn off SLI. It can have issues. Take out the second card and if still issues exist, you...

bootmCr missing press ctrl+alt delete to restart

If the battery was low, yeah it would have been resetting every time so might not have been booting from flash. But afterwards, if you went into bios and checked, it should remember it. However, checking nvram message suggests that it is not so, as it would indicate your cmos battery is dying or...

    FPS drop in games

Likely you're trying to run them on integrated graphics. In other words, something is wrong with your gpu or your gpu drivers. Uninstall previous video drivers with DDU, then install new ones, from nvidia's page.

bootmCr missing press ctrl+alt delete to restart

Yeah that means it cannot find a drive to boot up from. Your new ssd is empty, and for some reason it's not reading your usb dongle at all. Make sure you plug it into a usb 2.0 port and not 3.0 port. Sometimes 3.0 won't work without drivers. Also, you made sure your usb drive was bootable before...

bootmCr missing press ctrl+alt delete to restart

No no, don't remove gpu, you won't see anything unless you have integrated graphics. I also would have suggested trying resetting bios first (taking out the cmos battery and putting it back in), but I guess if you skipped ahead, just see how it goes with the new board.

Getting a black screen (no signal) when launching games

Update your audio drivers off of your mobo manufacturer's page. Check if it happens with other audio applications (TS, Vent, Skype etc.)

Windows 7 won't boot system repair destroyed

Get the windows install cd or usb, plug it in, reboot and press a key to boot off of it, and then run the repair from the disk. However, if the sysem is getting corrupted this frequently there might be issues that need to be addressed. If you can boot into linux, run a disk checker to make sure...

bootmCr missing press ctrl+alt delete to restart

Ah sorry saw the f1 and f8 but not delete. Have you tried unplugging the hdd from your mobo (or psu) and starting then? Just to see if you're able to access bios then. If not, then something is wrong with your mobo and you're best off contacting its manufacturer if within warranty. If yes, then...
