Combining two networks to expand bandwidth.

The only way this could work is if someone else in my building had the same thing but now that I know I'll be stealing part of their bandwidth it would be kind of a dickish move... Good thing my city is getting fiber by the end of the year.

Combining two networks to expand bandwidth.

Hey guys I recently moved and my new neighborhood is notorious for its bad internet. My ISP offers this thing called Wifi Fon where your router basically becomes a free wifi hotspot for people who also offer their routers on the same service (it's password protected). It's a separate network...

    How do disk partitions work?

Hey guys, this might be a silly question but my curiosity got the best of me and a quick google search didn't provide me with the answer I was looking for. Do disk partitions actually divide the disk physically? Or do they just set a rule for C: or D: or w/e to not use more than the space that...

[SOLVED] Shadow of War freezing on killing blow

Ok I found the fix. I had to turn off Dynamic Resolution in the in-game settings, then go to Nvidia control panel's 3D settings, find "Power Management Mode" and change it to "Adaptive."

[SOLVED] Shadow of War freezing on killing blow

Best way to connect digital-only GPU with vga monitor?

Hello everyone, my monitor got busted and I only have this old samsung which only has a VGA connection. My GPU is the gtx 1060 6G so it only has Dual Link DVI-D, HDMI & DP 1.4. Covering half of one fan on a gtx 1060, how bad is it?

Hello everyone, I moved and it has become impossible to keep using a cabled connection so I will have to switch to wireless. My MOBO is rather small and the only free PCI slot is located directly beneath my Gigabyte gtx 1060 OC WF2. It has two fans and is facing down. Almost half of one fan...

    Is this a good deal? Lenovo G50-70... i7 4500U, 8GB, R5 M230

Hello guys, I'm looking for a laptop for my girlfriend. She will be using it for university and multimedia. Maybe she will try out some gaming too but that's not an issue. I want to buy locally because of warranties and customer service ( I've had bad experiences in the past). I found a lenovo...

Stuck in a reboot-loop after installing a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo CPU cooler!

Doesn't necessarily mean you have a faulty RAM stick. Since it occurred when you installed a new cpu cooler it could be a bent cpu pin on your motherboard that's causing the RAM slots to not work properly. Only way to find out is by doing troubleshooting. Try to boot with only 1 ram stick.

Stuck in a reboot-loop after installing a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo CPU cooler!

Do some troubleshooting. This might take some time... Disconnect everything from the motherboard apart from the CPU and 1 ram stick. Try booting with the ram stick in all DIMM slots. If you find out that one DIMM slot is causing the boot loop then you are done. If there is no boot loop then keep...

Stuck in a reboot-loop after installing a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo CPU cooler!

I had the same problem few days ago and turns out I somehow managed to bend a pin on the motherboards CPU socket. My second DIMM slot stopped working and the only way to boot properly was to remove the ram stick from my second DIMM slot.
