Is using a VPN safe or unsafe.. ? I recently tried Hotspot shield and it seemed that they are tracking everything I'm doing.. depending on what I click.. they were popping up relevant ads, messages, prompts for upgrade etc.. So that raised the question.. If I was actually inside a VPN connection...
