    So my CPU says it supports. Memory Types DDR3 and DDR3L 1333/1600 at 1.5V So if i installed 1866 does that overclock the cpu? I had that ram installed in my sons PC with the CPU and its worked flalessly, but i didn't OC it... So I'm still confused. Do most all new CPU's JUST support 1600...

    The specs on the Corsair RM550 say 2 X 6+2 connectors but show only one cable and one PCI-E power slot and the 4+4 CPU power.
