No changes after unplugging HDMI and plugging it back in. I left it unplugged for about 10 seconds just to make sure it truly disconnected.

Using HDMI (built in , no adapter) and yes it is generic.

I did install the updated driver. After doing that is what led me here.

Not sure of the resolution, but the computer recommends 1920 x 1080 although it won't let me change it. The Panasonic Model # is TC-P50C2.
