So... go buy a $30 cable and plug the TV into the DisplayPort, and use the HDMI port for the Vive. Problem solved, without weeks of waiting for comment, or (god forbid) code, from the manufacturer. Considering the expense of the 1080 and the Vive, surely the complainer can afford to solve this...
