This is a bit different but when i cloned my hdd over to my ssd it would use the hdd as the read write drive and the SSD somehow it used both drives to boot. Depending on how you have it set up it may be testing both arrays at once. When you open my computer it shows 2 drives right?

Please note that GTX 670m and GTX 675m are both Fermi. The GTX 680m is the only high end Kepler laptop card. So i don't know where you are going with that blazorthon.

dual 6950's

Alpha was locked settings. So is the beta i believe. All on High. Not ultra.

AMD's Bulldozer 8170 features 4 clusters of 2 cores each. In short each cluster acts like 1 core. 1 Cluster handles 1 thread. Therefore their 4 core solution will handle like a dual core. PS: The 8170 is rumored to be $266. It may act out to be phenomenal with 2 cores handling one video game...

IF this mobo can overclock you might get +6 bclock which would be 6x31= 186Mhz.

There's a socket 2011 thats due out here sometime. Its to 1155 as 1366 is to 1156. From what i understand.
