Need help with a new PC rig

I'll go probably with Intel unless I find a good price for the 2600X, and the 2060. Thanks a lot for everyone who helped.

Need help with a new PC rig

Yeah, I'm really with you on that, as the CPU is rarely causing issue gaming wise for 1080p. But as I said, my Mobo is basically failing (x16 PCIE slot) and it's an issue that happens whenever I move my PC (needed for cleaning as it gets really dusty). So I'm kinda stuck having to change...

Need help with a new PC rig

I mean I don't mind staying at 1080p, but I do downsample many games as I prefer that to most available AA. I have a 4770K and a 290 OC, and I wanted to actually have a big upgrade that may be future proof. That is why I thought that 2070 at least is the go to, but now I see that the 2060 is no...

Need help with a new PC rig

Thanks, any advice for a good mobo for that, I don't really need a big one, just enough to plug two HDDs and maybe one SSD. Prefer a sturdy one, as my last Gigabyte mobo had a real issue with x16 PCI that losses contact from the graphic card after a while (must be weighing a lot).

Need help with a new PC rig

Thanks for the suggestion, but the 8600K is nearly double the price of the 9400F (yeah, they keep the MSRP even when a new gen is available), and I don't think I will actually fully use the K since I never overclock. I don't mind either Intel or AMD as long as it doesn't have any bottleneck down...

Need help with a new PC rig

Cheaper is good, but is it like at least future proof for the next 2-3 years, I'm looking at games like Cyberpunk 2077, which my perhaps struggle on this 1660Ti. Maybe a 2060 is a better in between ?

Need help with a new PC rig

Since the prices in my country are really skewed with custom taxes, any budget I can give you will not be really helpful. But if you still prefer that, you can say it's 1600-1800$.

Need help with a new PC rig

Hi, I'm planning to build a new PC, and I really want to know if i'm not going overboard with some components since I'm mostly looking for a 1080p/60 FPS gaming (144Hz on light esports games), I would really like some advice. So here's the potential build : CPU: Intel i5-9400F MOBO: MSI B360M...
