Not sure I completely understand what you're asking. But I have 2 cables coming out of the PSU going to the 2 parts of the dongle connection which goes into the GPU itself. Hope that clarifies it for you.

I use 2 separate cables from the GPU dongle that was provided with the 3090 to the PSU.

If anyone was wondering - I switched to a 1000w platinum corsair PSU (swapped out my EVGA 850w Gold+) and haven't had the issue since. Seemed the PSU was the problem. Not sure if it was a bad PSU or if 850w just wasn't enough power for it.

The issue happens whether the xmp is disabled or in profile 1. No changes between the two.

I just played an hour or so of COD with no issues. Seems to be something related to Fortnite.

I do have the Ram overclocked (Profile 1) right now. But I was having the same issues before without the OC.
