update your mobo bios. and download the latest drivers for your mobo as well as your gpu from amd web site. forget that gigabyte web site, those drivers are age old ones.

check if the core speed does go up when you do something demanding. like open up a an application or something

what about sapphire trixx???? un install the msi afterburner and try trixx. see if that works somehow....and again only oc a few mhz at one go.

try reinstalling the direct x redist ads well as the drivers again. also double check your gpu frequency again.....wrong oc ing or lack of proper voltage sometimes results in flickering and artifacts. what psu do you use????

get the amd r7 260x or the gtx 750ti....both are extremely good cards and will be perfect for you. EDIT: oh...and by the way why is it that your fx 4100 is 1.4ghz....it is a 3.6ghz processor. just reconfirm your processor speeds at the bios to ensure that you don't have your processor...

well get a card according to the processing power you have. what are your pc specs??? motherboard has no role to play when it comes to bottlenecking a gpu
