This is what it says on the spec sheet: Slots Slot 1: Low Profile, PCIe Express 3.0 x16 (40w max) Slot 2: Low Profile, PCIe 2.0 x1 Slot 3: Low Profile, PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 elec, 40w max)

All I know is that's its 240w and the PCI Express Card slot is limited to 40 watts pull which is why I looked at the R7-240 which is one of the few that pulls that little. I don't do gaming so maybe it's not necessary.
