Just tested a different CPU to be extra sure and rule it out and sure enough the issue persists, guess it is the GPU after all, will look at getting it replaced

Most of the parts in my PC have warranty until 2026, the GPU has until 2027 so plenty of time. I agree it does look like VRAM issues. I do wonder though, can it be indirectly caused by anything else such as the CPU as I have heard a couple of people suggest this elsewhere

That is when using the IGPU plugged directly into mobo to monitor. CPU and memtests both passed so it's weird to get such artifacting. Using the IGPU on such a new title is way under the minimum requirements so perhaps it's purely down to that which introduced such an anomaly
