That shouldn't need you to reinstall windows. I do believe as long as you have windows 10 activated on your computer, then you would not need the activation code even if you need to clean install windows 10 back on your computer. The windows 10 activation code is already tied to your hardware.

I believe the only cables you really need to purchase extra of is the SATA cables (depending on how many you need), everything else should be with your power supply.

So occasionally when I start up my computer from a cold boot, it freezes while showing my motherboard logo and sometimes the words that tell me what button to press to go to BIOS is distorted. But after a restart or two my computer boots and works fine. Can anyone help me with this problem...

Your motherboard does not come with a built-in network adapter, so you're going to have to buy either a PCIE or USB network adpater. Unfortunately, I can't really recommend any good network adapters, but these are pretty high-rated on Newegg.com PCIE...

Well if you want to connect to your router wirelessly, you need a wireless network adapter. Most motherboards do not have a wifi adapter built in. So that might be your problem. Can I have the model of your motherboard?

You shouldn't need any other converters. I'm using DisplayPorts to HDMI for my monitor and my tv.

DisplayPort to HDMI should work. Maybe the cable you have is bad or not working?

By the sounds of it, he's just changing the DRAM frequency and nothing else. So I'm not sure if he even has the XMP enabled.
