    Solved! TPM must be 1.2, not 2.0 Got a 1.2 and now it works.

    So now I have reinstalled Windows 8.1 Pro. I have reset BIOS/UEFI by removing battery for a period --> Load Defaults. Changed every option about Secure Boot and TPM I can find.     Already problem on 1. Enabled, save and Exit. It is disabled. Even if I ignore that, I cannot initialize it, it cannot be found.

    Just got the Asus 970 Pro Gaming. Also got the TPM-chip. Enabled it in UEFI but it won't stay Enabled. TPM Support is set to Enabled TPM State refuses to go Enabled, get Disabled after restart. What have I missed?

    So I solved this. Disabled Fast Boot in Control Panel, Power Settings. Now I can start the PC at any given time. Don't remember having to do this the last time, but whatever floats the goat..
